About Jane Melgaard

Jane Melgaard

Jane Melgaard is a classically trained photographer and design professional based in the rolling hills of her native Dubuque, Iowa. Her fine art and commercial photography reflects the eye of a world-traveler and passionate outdoorswoman. Jane is a graduate of Columbia College, and plied her craft for a Chicago-based photography firm before launching her own full-service design and photography boutique See Jane Shoot. Her contemporaries have described her as a "visual poet". From meadow to metropolis, Jane's digital photography offers a fresh perspective honed over two decades behind the lens. From regional art museums to the U.S. embassy in Angola, Jane's work has inspired both public and patron alike.
